Some of Our Favorite NYC Locations

Our most asked question is undoubtedly, ‘What’s the best location for our photo shoot?”. Although every session has it’s specific goals, we’ve found that the places listed below are some of our favorites. (Note: Central Park is our most requested and always beloved. It’s the obvious ‘go-to’ so we decided not to mention it).

What are your favorite New York City locations? Let us know in the comments section.

BROOKLYN BRIDGE

One of our favorite spots to photograph clients is on the Brooklyn-side arch of the two massive archways. Positioning them against the unbelievable fairy-tale setting of the Manhattan skyscrapers especially at sunrise or sunset.

THE OCULUS - WORLD TRADE CENTER

Spanish architect, Santiago Calatrava’s ethereal creation evokes a big white bird, spreading its massive steel wings preparing for a flight. The light, the design, its message - we love everything about this heavenly space!

BRYANT PARK

This mostly overlooked park is few blocks west of 42nd Street, next to the New York Public Library. This historic landmark is full of photo opportunities with stairs, granite benches, fountains, and courtyards galore.
The winter ice rink is famous for daily proposals.

THE MEATPACKING DISTRICT

This is where you’ll find us photographing NYC’s fashion influencers. This neighborhood has all the glam spots for your photo shoot- cobblestone sidewalks, art galleries, famous nightclubs, rooftops with water views and world-class dining options.
And with fewer sky-scrapers, there’s natural light everywhere.

THE FLATIRON DISTRICT

This triangular, 22-story, steel-framed landmark is frequently used on television commercials and documentaries as an easily recognizable symbol of the city.
Its unique design creates fun angles during photoshoots topping our list of favorite buildings to capture.

TOP OF THE ROCK

The sunset view from the Rockefeller Center observation deck is swoon-worthy and creates a stunning backdrop to say "Yes!" We’re big fans of capturing the NYC skyline or Central Park from above and will therefore always recommend this location for proposals!

SOHO

The cobble streets of SoHo are our top choice for headshot photo shoots.
You will find some of the oldest buildings in the city while walking through this charming neighborhood.
The iconic architecture along with art galleries, cute cafes and unique boutiques, create the perfect city backdrop for your photos.

JERSEY CITY

Recently titled ‘New York’s 6th borough’, we love its breathtaking views of the Hudson side of the Manhattan skyline. The Hudson River Waterfront Walkway stretches for 18 miles, and every spot is perfect for a photo shoot
